ED sleuths conduct a raid on the Fast Way office in Shimla

A team of Enforcement Director (ED) comprising of a female Officer today conducted a search at cable operators Office owned by Punjab based businessman.

Sources in police revealed that the sleuth of ED crackdown on Fastway’s office at around 11:30 hrs on Friday in connection with disproportionate assets and taxes. The team members have arrived here from Chandigarh after conducting similar search operations in Punjab including Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Moga, etc. The search was still continuing at around 1700hrs.

The businessman Gurdeep Singh is stated to be a close relative of former deputy chief minister who belonged to Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was on the scanner of ED related to a multi-crore deal.

The businessman came on the scanner of the investigation wing of ED on the statement of a scammester to probe the trial of a big kickback, officially informed. Recently Gurdeep Singh acquired cores of the cable networks in the state.
